The Housing Authority of Travis County is an independent, government funded agency charged with the responsibility to provide an adequate supply of low income housing to help meet the housing needs of the residents of Travis County, Texas, in the United States of America
The Housing Authority of Travis County (HATC) exists to provide safe, decent and sanitary housing for low income families in Travis County, which includes the city of Austin and most of the area surrounding Austin, including: Cedar Park, Lago Vista, Lakeway, Del Valle, Manor, Elgin, Pflugerville, as well as parts of Leander and Manchaca.

The Housing Authority does not have funding available for emergency housing assistance or home buyer programs at this time.
The Housing Authority has Office Space for lease in our new building at 502 Highland Mall Blvd. This building is located between Airport Blvd. and I H 35, north of Koenig (290/2222).
